EVS Ltd provide General Extract Ventilation Systems within Composting Plants to ensure the containment and control of odorous air generated and released within the Reception, Maturation and Process Areas is achieved through negative pressure environments.
Emissions removed from these types of building are treated therefore neutralised by means of either a Bio-Filter System or Chemical Scrubber to ensure clean air is dispersed to atmosphere.
Air contained and removed from these types of Composting Plant are usually moisture laden with a Relative Humidity of >96%, with a temperature rise of 10ºC above ambient, and possible rising to 40ºCduring summer months or other warm periods. This environment and the presence of ammonia within system air streams requires ductwork and other system components to be manufactured from corrosion resistant UPVC.
EVS Ltd can offer the full package from initial design through to installation commissioning and documentation ensuring compliance of current legislation.
