Anaerobic Digestion Plants

EVS Ltd provide General Extract Ventilation Systems within Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Plants to ensure the containment and control of odorous air generated and released within the Process Areas is achieved through negative pressure environments.

Emissions removed from these types of building are treated therefore neutralised by means of either a Bio-Filter System or Chemical Scrubber to ensure clean air is dispersed to atmosphere.

The Anaerobic Digestion process produces Biogas, consisting of methane gas, carbon dioxide and other contaminant gases, which requires equipment with suitable anti-spark protection to be provided and dependant upon equipment location may require the provision of ATEX rated components.
